Course Description
The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® is one of the fastest growing certifications in the field of project management. Earning a PMI-ACP® certification helps to demonstrate your knowledge of agile principles and your skill with agile techniques. The course will help to prepare you to sit for the exam. Prerequisites:
Students should have some general familiarity with both traditional plan-driven project management and Agile methodologies. Also, the prerequisites for this course include:
  • Secondary degree.
  • 21 contact hours of training in agile practices.
  • 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP.
  • 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years

Mladen Tomov

Mladen Tomov Agile Trainer & Coach

Mladen Tomov has experience in the software industry since 2004. During the first 7 years of his career, he worked as a Java developer and software consultant. Since 2010, he has expanded his experience with roles in project, team and product management. He holds the role of Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, Software Engineering Manager.

Mladen is an experienced engineering professional with an MBA focused on Business Excellence. Нe works with a strong focus on the fruitful application of flexible methodologies such as Scrum and Design Thinking.

His experience includes hiring, motivating, and managing software engineers, conducting training and coaching, communication with clients, and partners, part of Fortune 500 companies.

His work as a software engineer and his many years of close interaction with the business presupposes his complex perspective on project implementation and stakeholder engagement. He is able to provide various examples and challenge in-depth analysis of complex practical cases in discussions with students.

Certification Exam

Exam: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® by PMI® (Project Management Institute)

Тhe PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® formally recognizes your knowledge of agile principles and your skill with agile techniques. The certification exam has 120 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours to complete it. To maintain your PMI-ACP, you must earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) in agile topics every three years. Exam eligibility requirements: secondary degree, 21 contact hours of training in agile practices, 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years.
